In 1999, the Oregon Legislature established a Regional Investment Program to identify and coordinate regional economic and community development priorities. The Benton, Lane, Lincoln, Linn Regional Investment Board (BL3 RIB) was created to develop a regional investment plan that would guide investments in the four-county region. The BL3 Board has revised and updated its Investment Strategy for the current biennium.

Public hearings on the draft 2007-13 BL3 Regional Investment strategy will be conducted during the regularly scheduled meeting of the:

• Benton County Board of Commissioners - 11/20/07
• Lane County Board of Commissioners - 11/21/07
• Lincoln County Board of commissioners - 11/21/07
• Linn County Board of Commissioners - 11/20/07
