The Albany Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) continues to work on its first Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). AAMPO is piloting use of Mosaic – Oregon Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) “least cost and value informed” planning tool. AAMPO’s Consultant team is currently doing data input. Preliminary results and anticipated this month. AAMPO is the first entity to use this tool for a practical planning scenario. In tandem with the RTP, AAMPO is working with the City of Albany and regional transit partners to prepare a Transit Development Plan.
