Title VI Complaint Process

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states: “No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”

The AAMPO Title VI Nondiscrimination Plan reflects AAMPO’s commitment to ensuring that no person shall – on the ground of race, color, national origin, age, or disability – be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any of the MPO’s programs or activities. This Plan, in coordination with the AAMPO Public Participation Plan, provides guidance for outreach and public involvement activities during all MPO planning and programming efforts. The AAMPO Title VI/Non-discrimination Plan is available at the bottom of this page.
