October: News for Lenders and Small Businesses

Benefits of Working with the OCWCOG Loan Program

OCWCOG specializes in community and economic development in Benton, Linn, and Lincoln Counties. As our regions’ premier federally and locally secured public business lending program, we recognize that obtaining capital to grow or start a business can be difficult. In partnership with traditional sources of capital, OCWCOG can help your small business secure the final or extra financing you may need to be successful.

Borrowers:

  • Low down payment/equity requirement available
  • Fixed interest rate and fully amortized loan
  • In-house loan application process, closing and servicing
  • Working capital funds available

Lenders:

  • Projects that would otherwise exceed lending limitations may now be viable
  • Private lender takes 1st position lien on collateral; OCWCOG takes a subordinate lien
  • Open line of communication with OCWCOG lending staff
  • Increased loan opportunities and new prospects

Local Communities:

  • Creation and/or retention of jobs, especially in rural or disadvantaged areas of Oregon
  • Greater access to capital, particularly for underserved markets
  • Increased development of areas surrounding a successful business
  • Providing services for economic growth
