Care Homes
OCWCOG’s Senior and Disability Services provides information on where individuals can find Adult Foster Care Homes (AFH) throughout Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. Adult Foster Care is a private residence licensed to provide care for up to five (5) individual residents; living arrangements can include a private or semi-private room with a home-like atmosphere.
Adult Foster Care includes:
- Home-like environment;
- Room and board;
- 24-hour supervision and protection;
- Organized activities;
- Registered Nurse consultation;
- Medication management; and
- Assistance with personal care and bathing.
Foster homes vary, both in range of services offered and in the provider’s qualifications. Adult Foster Care homes are inspected, licensed, and monitored by OCWCOG’s Senior and Disability Services staff, and governed by the Oregon Administrative Rules. Learn more about AFH Classifications.
