Steps to Success with Your In-Home Worker

Clients who are matched with an In-Home Care worker are encouraged to participate in the Steps to Success program, though the state of Oregon. Steps to Success is an Oregon Home Care Commission program that promotes successful working relationships between consumer employers and homecare workers.

OCWCOG’s Senior and Disability Services In-Home Care Services allows individuals to stay in their own home while receiving help from a trained home care worker. An In-Home Case Worker will assist as needed in the home and discuss a service plan that meets personal needs and goals.

In-home case worker functions may include

• Personal Care
• Bathing
• Medication Management
• Meal Preparation
• Contract Nursing Services
• Shopping
• Transportation
• Housekeeping
